Product Manager - Insurance Solutions - German speaker (f/m/x) 

Join our ambitious product team as Product Manager - Insurance Solutions. As part of our team, you'll be leading initiatives to simplify and improve international students' journey to Germany through strategic insurance solutions. YOUR ROLE

• Crafting and implementing insurance solutions: Your primary focus will be on the integration and customization of our diverse insurance offerings to fit our customers' unique needs.
• Strategy and roadmapping: You will develop and execute product strategies, translating them into actionable roadmaps and backlog items. Collaborating with our Commercial and Operations teams, you'll identify and capitalize on growth opportunities for our insurance products.
• Driving product growth: Together with the Business Development team you will continuously improve and customize our insurance product for each of the channels and customer segments by proactively identifying and driving growth opportunities via insurance matching engine.
• Innovative product development: You will employ a rapid prototyping methodology, formulating product hypotheses, launching MVPs (Minimum Viable Products), assessing outcomes, and planning subsequent actions.
• Customer journey ownership: You're responsible for overseeing customer journeys for insurance products, including the integration of partner services.
• Stakeholder representation: You'll represent Expatrio in external meetings with partners.
• Cross-functional team collaboration: You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to deliver valuable and quick time-to-market solutions to our customers.
• Specification and testing: You will specify the tickets for our engineering team with functional and non-functional requirements, the user needs and acceptance criteria as well as testing the functionality of the product before the release date.
• Performance analysis: You will prepare performance insights for our internal stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• Educational foundation: You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional expertise: You bring at least 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within the insurance product domain, including a minimum of 1 year working with external providers and partners.
• Analytical acumen: Your approach is analytical, data-driven, and hands-on, with a solid understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, Hotjar, Optimizely, RapidUserTest, Miro, Figma, JIRA, and Notion.
• Communication skills: You can clearly specify and explain requirements, and you are able to have in-depth discussions with Software Engineers that ensure effective and collective decision-making. Additionally, you can turn ambiguous, conflicting, and/or complex inputs into actionable plans.
• Team environment: You communicate with empathy and exceptional precision and are able to create and support a great work environment. 
• Languages: You are fluent in English. Good level of German is required.
